In the words of the philosopher, Heraclitus, “the only thing constant in life is change.” Even as the times keep changing and we try to change with it, we must however remember to hold good values and morals we’ve learned in the past, dear with us. Happy world philosophy day from all of us @the Benin Boys Council (BBC) where we are passionate about advancing the common people, and promoting the dignity of good governance. #philosophy #love of wisdom #worldphilosophyday

Children are a blessing from God, and they make positive impactful change on the global human society as they eventually grow up. We were all once children, but see where we are now 😊. We’ll keep supporting and training them with the right core values and good, but at the same time affordable education. God bless all the world’s children. And by dint of hardwork and grace, we will all make this world a better place. Love you all kids. @Benin Boys Council (BBC) celebrates you all. Kisses and loves from us all. A WALK IN THE GARDEN part II

The best is always reserved for those who walk with God.

… A sage once told me, “Remember, the best is always reserved for those who walk with God.” You want to have the best and be the best in the end? Then walk with the Divine. Yes, cultivate a walk, a relationship, a man-to-man fellowship with God Most High. He is not far from you, and it is not something that cannot be done. He is nearer than you think or can imagine. Call on Him today and begin the walk. Cultivate the garden in love and obedience, and you won’t get kicked out of the garden as was the first humans.

God is not some kind of despot who uses and dumps people as some would wrongly think or circumstances would sometimes make us want to believe. He is caring, loving, and sweet. Yes, God is sweet. He talks, jokes (but,He is not a joker. He may crack your ribs sometimes with His GSOH but doesn’t joke with His words, promises or covenants. Yes, God laughs and can make you laugh too. Surprised to hear this? Then see Psalms 2:4; 37:13 and 59:8) and communicates freely and expressly as friends do with each other. That’s why He is a friend too. I do hear Him a lot and do talk back with Him.

God is a person and has emotions too just like you and me. Why wouldn’t He have? After all, He made us (humans) in His image and likeness. He however, doesn’t throw temper tantrums as humans will sometimes do. Ha! Ha! If you will know Him intimately [which He so much desires and longs for, with us humans- one of His best creation and highest technology], then you also must walk in the garden, and cultivate the garden. Do not give room to any intruder or the serpent to enter your God-given garden as it happened with the first man and woman, Mr and Mrs Adam and Eve. You my friend must take the foxes, the little foxes that spoil the vine because your vine has tender grapes (SSol 2:15). Like I had earlier said, cultivate and walk in this garden in love and obedience, and everything will work out well and great. In the end, you will be the best at whatever you do. Blessings, as always. Excel!

A WALK IN THE GARDEN part I

The best is always reserved for those…

At the cool of the day, that is, every evening someone always strolled into the garden to have a tete-a-tete with a friend. This friend’s assignment was to tend to the garden and everything therein. By this I mean not just the flowers, herbs and fruit/food crops, but also the animals which all lived in the garden. However, there was another person who envied this relationship between these two new friends and the convivial atmosphere that pervaded the garden in which the senior friend had placed the junior friend. He viewed from afar and was never happy seeing these two fellas enjoying a very good rapport between each other, and so he set himself on an assignment to sour this relationship and usurp the perfect order of things as obtained in the garden.

He himself had been in the service of this senior friend until the seeming love story went bad. He had wanted to allude to himself what he was not and in the process he lost what he had. So he decided to become a wet blanket to this relationship. This eventually resulted in souring this new relationship and the new friend together with his wife got kicked out of the garden…

TODAY’S NIGERIAN YOUTHS

I’m scared…

I’M SCARED FOR THE YOUTHS OF MY COUNTRY

Our boys (so, so many of them) have given themselves over to evil and all forms of satan-inspired vices as (street) cultism, killing themselves almost on a daily basis; internet fraud/cyber crime popularly called “yahoo” which has actually become an industry, sort of; kidnapping; daylight and early night robbery (with or without guns and other light weapons), sometimes killing their victims in the process; and what have you.

Our girls? They (so, so many of them) have given themselves over to day and night prostitution and all sorts of indecency and sexual immorality, making the female folk seem just an object of sex and nothing more.

I don’t know what is happening… Surely, the cogitations of my head much troubleth me…

Who is going to take over the leadership of this country? Who will lead Nigeria in the future, beginning even now? Is it these sorts of people? I’m scared…

O LORD God of Creation, help my generation; help our youths; help our country, Nigeria. Deliver us O LORD, I pray Thee. In Jesus Name. Amen. οΏ½οΏ½οΏ½+οΏ½οΏ½οΏ½οΏ½
